What an absolutely incredible and magical day we had! Thank goodness for the big tent -- it kept most of the late afternoon heavy rains and winds off all the WUMB Music Fest attendees! And, the sturdiness of the tent made The Angel Band and The David Bromberg Quartet (actually, it turned out to be a Quintet thanks to a special guest) comfortable enough to play right thru the bad weather. And, when the power went out during the Gandalf Murphy and Slambovian Circus of Dreams set, they were the ultimate professionals and did a one-of-a-kind acoustic set until lights were restored. Thanks to the several thousand attendees for taking a chance on the weather - they all got a very special day of incredible music. And, special thanks to the volunteers who did an exceptional job making it a great day for all involved. More details, photos and videos in a few days! (6/6/2010)
